Does your child or teen seem to worry a lot?

Does he/she get angry really quickly and have a hard time managing?

Does he or she seem more down than usual? Is he/she isolating him/herself?

Does he or she have difficulty making friends, focusing in school, and/or calming down when upset?

Has your child been through difficult experiences such as bullying, self-harm?

Moms and dads, I know how you are feeling; I see you I feel you.

Your child is expressing their emotions in ways that you know are not helpful to them or to your family.  You feel defeated, exhausted, helpless, worried and frustrated. You either don’t know where to begin or have tried all your resources and depleted your tool kit. You are lost and don’t know how to help your own child; and being a parent didn’t come with a manual.

You want to see your child learn how to manage their intense emotions without falling apart or taking their frustration out on others. At this moment your family is in a vicious cycle. I get it and that’s why I am here.

With 15 years as a Child & Youth Counsellor (working for the School Board)…I am here to provide you with tools and strategies and teach directly to your child ways that they can strengthen their emotional toolbox.

As well as natural medicine/essential oils and holistic practices to help your child thrive in safe natural effective ways.

I will show you fun ways your child can learn to take ownership and responsibility for their emotions while providing you with tips and tricks to help guide and work WITH your child through this beautiful process and yes it will be beautiful!!!

Just imagine a life where you have an incredibly positive, trusting open relationship with your child. Where you get to celebrate all the wins and successes.

I am here to inspire success, confidence, and hope in each and every child and adolescent. I know that for youth to achieve personal excellence, they need to feel valued and safe. This means being welcoming and inclusive in everything that I do.

Testimonials

★★★★★

“Jaimi has a genuine compassion, care, and understanding of what her clients are going through. She is armed with professionalism and knowledge. These qualities, in addition to her non-judgemental nature, allow the kids to feel like kids, let their guards down and share and grow. And with a cohort that presents as extremely challenging, she wins them over, and they love her. She is an inspiration.

Jaimi, you have saved my life, I do not think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for you. You are the only one that believed in me, stood by my side and never gave up on me”. Your confidence and belief in me helped me to see it within myself. You have pulled me out of some pretty dark moments in my life. Your patience, understanding, support and guidance will never be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”  J.L

“Ms. You’ve had so many positive impacts on my life/on who I am as a young woman now, but I think the biggest thing I took from you when I was growing up is how genuinely kind and caring you are- and that shaped how I wanted to move through the world myself. You always went out of your way to help my siblings and I, and so many other kids at the school in any way you could. You were dependable, trustworthy, honest but still so easygoing and fun. You were one of my most prominent role models throughout my life and I still aspire to be like you! I have so much love and admiration for you.”  J.S

“Ms. You are definitely one of the most memorable counsellors I know. You helped me build my confidence a lot just by being a shoulder to cry on. I knew I could go to you for anything without any judgement because you always have been so accepting of everyone. When my grandfather passed away from cancer I remember spending hours with you in your office, you gave me great ideas for expressing my feelings and emotions. Whenever I was having a bad day at school I knew I could come to you and instantly feel better no matter what. Even just coming to talk about random stuff. You were/are always so positive about everything and that really does make a difference in everyone’s day and life.” D

“The reason that so many of our kids want to go see Jaimi when they are anxious, stressed, worried or excited about something is because Jaimi makes every child feel “heard.” I have watched her work with kids, and she actively listens to them…many kids just need someone to hear them out to feel better and Jaimi definitely does that…and much more.”

“There has been some time you’ve saved my life and I don’t think you ever even knew. You taught me how to love and accept myself and I think that changed my life”  N.S
